At the end of the spring semester, fourth-year architecture students from O’More College’s Urban Design Studio unveiled their “Pre-Enacting The Pike” exhibit — featuring 12 building proposals, a greenway, and a street redesign — to community members, design professionals, and Metro Nashville officials.

On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, 20 talented 4th- and 5th-year architecture students from the O’More College of Architecture & Design jump-started their semester with our second annual Design Charrette. Divided into five teams, the students had just one day to develop innovative disaster relief center concepts using repurposed shipping containers. The event was proudly sponsored by AIA Middle Tennessee, whose incredible mentors worked side by side with the students, offering expert guidance throughout the fast-paced design process. We’re also deeply grateful to the faculty from the Gordon E. Inman College of Nursing at Belmont University for their meaningful collaboration and insight, helping shape designs that were both practical and people-centered.
